    Description

    This listing is for a pre 1960 ROYAL WINTON ASCOT SHAPE 6-3/4" NUT DISH with gold trim, a relatively scarce shape an in mint condition. In all blue, the base has the SUMMERTIME and ROYAL WINTON circular mark. In addition it has the blue script mark, WRIGHT TYNDALE & van RODEN INC. ENGLAND mark.  It also has an unreadable gold hand painted pattern mark. The piece is 6-3/4" x 5-3/8" x 1-1/2." The piece is in pristine condition and has beautiful coloration. The pierced handles to the piece are heart shaped cutouts. The lot also includes a scarce SUMMERTIME nut scoop, 5-1/8" long. This piece unfortunately has a handle that was broken off and nonprofessionally restored ...actually just reglued.  It is certainly functional and doesn't really show up that much.  Photos 4-7 are dedicated to depicting this fault. Otherwise the scoop of flawless.
