    Description

    The Fiji 50 Dollar banknote was released in 2020 to commemorate the nations 50th year of Independence. This commemorative issue is on polymer and measures 151 x 67 mm. Its obverse features the first raising of the national flag at Albeit Park in Suva on October 10, 1970. The reverse of the paper bill depicts children happily waving the Fijian flag. The banknote bears a watermark that reflects the clock tower on the Government Building showing 10 am, which was the time of the first raising of the flag. This Fiji 50 Dollar banknote is in uncirculated condition.
